Dissolving Volume Treatment
Volume Treatment occasionally may require dissolving. This may be due to lumps or bumps, incorrect placement, poor results, product migration, volume treatment side effects including vascular occlusion, accumulation of product, or simply changes in aesthetic trends (for example lips). All volume treatments can be reversed/ erased immediately.
The Procedure for Dissolving Volume Treatment in Sydney
At Face to Face by Marjan, we offer treatments to dissolve volumiser. Marjan takes a very careful approach to make sure your facial needs are met. After the first treatment, she waits one week to reassess if you require further dissolving as there is often slight swelling post-treatment.
It is important to note that this dissolving agent only dissolves volumiser and not your collagen. Your body's natural volumiser will be reproduced within 24-48 hours after treatment.
Any areas which were treated in the face or neck can be dissolved. Eg, the tear troughs, cheeks & lips are the most frequently treated areas. Too many volume loss treatments placed too superficially will result in the Tyndall effect under the eyes. Tyndall occurs when the skin overlying the filler is blue/grey.
